Over the years, leveraging on leading-edge food processing cum manufacturing technologies, careful and unrelenting sourcing for the best quality ingredients and raw materials, the Company has developed wholesome and appetizing products that are marketed in several Asian markets.

A typical example from the Company’s acclaimed product portfolio is McDee Fruit Snack in three flavors launched several years ago.  It is eaten as a snack and features a significant content of Vitamin C and dietary fibre. Other useful components include protein and sucrose. The premium quality of McDee Fruit Snack is partly in manufacture. Only the freshest berries and fruit (elderberry, raspberry, strawberry, blueberry, plum and apple) are carefully picked for processing and the result is a high density fruit snack since it takes three times the volume of fruits to make one unit of product by weight. The aseptic manufacturing process allows for the lowest plate count possible, which means the product remains in pristine condition after many months of normal ambient storage. Part of this outstanding keeping quality has to do with effective product packaging.

The latest product development effort has allowed for the birth of another winning product that will soon hit the stores in East Asia and Oceania. McDee Fruit Loaf and Cake were formulated to complement great taste with healthy nourishment. Ultimately it would feature at least three delectable variants. The formulation uses generous proportions of McDee Real Fruits and health supporting Spirulina Pacifica, grown exclusively in Kona Hawaii, which is the most premium spirulina specie money can buy. At the bottom line it is a masterful blending of the best from nature into a befitting traditional New Zealand Fruit Loaf/Cake recipe that yields the most subtle and delicious tasting product. Informal consumer research has yielded very positive feedback that has enabled ongoing progress on this project to be armed with exhilarating confidence.
